Free Agents

In about 3 days the gates will open and NBA teams  will have the chance to talk to all the free agents available.  This might be one of the most anticipated free agent periods in NBA history and every team wants to make room for at least one max contract to get a big name playing for their team. These moves can make or break a team even bring a championship to a franchise.  The NBA draft started this frenzy with so many trades  and releasing of players, the Miami Heat made the most  impact by clearing enough room for at least 3 big name free agents.   With all this happening can Pat Riley keep the franchise Dwayne Wade or will he go back home to play with the Chicago Bulls ? Either way everybody wants  the biggest name out there Lebron James once he is signed that should seal everybody elses fate with teams. We might not have to wait for 4th of July to see fireworks the way this free agent class is stacked. Just imagine one team like the Knicks, Bulls or Heat   could get a combination of all-stars like   Amare Stoudemire Lebron James and Joe Johnson on the same team . This summer is going down in the history books.

Like Father Like Son

After the BET awards you could see that Lil Wayne still had his mark in hip hop even if he was locked away on Rikers Island. From his protegé Drake winning a BET award an also hitting the stage and Nicki Minaj also winning an award also performing ,Wayne didnt have to be there at all. It was like  a proud father moment for him also with his Young Money team getting a BET award nomination. But I can’t even credit all this success to Lil Wayne it all starts back with the Hotboyz.

Im Back

Today is the day that might have been marked on T.I calendar since the day he was released from prison. With the BET awards tonight T.I will be in the same situation he was in  three years ago, when he was arrested on multiple charges ultimately putting him behind bars for a year. A lot has changed since then so I can guarantee that the same thing wont happen twice. This year he will be hitting the stage performing making up for his no show three years ago with Travis Barker in the back. This year if T.I wins an award like last year we dont have to worry about a Tiny acceptance  speech.

NBA Draft

Who will shake David Stern hand today with a new place to call home? A new crop of NBA talent will be on display tonight for the NBA Draft in New York. This is what some of these guys have been dreaming of since they first picked up a basketball. The new question is where will they land in the NBA what superstar will they be playing next to or against now?  The only question that John Wall should have is when can he play a game of H.O.R.S.E with the President Barack Obama, since the Wizards do have the number one pick. After John Wall at number one things get shaky and anything can happen definitely with the Memphis Grizzlies having three first round picks.  This draft is also key to most of the 2003 Draft class (Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh) who are Free agents now. Depending on what teams do in the draft it could affect where some major free agents decide to call home next year. Now the NBA summer frenzy begins with the start of the draft.

RIP Dunk Contest

Around this time last year the Lion was roaring loud about how he was going to be in the 2010 dunk contest. Fast forward to January 24, 2010 in real life lebron James is not even anywhere close to being in the dunk contest. For 2010 dunk contest I couldn’t even tell you who was it in it except for Nate Robinson who always has a spot in the dunk contest. What happened to the days when we had real dunkers in the contest and people were actually rushing home to see a Jason Richardson Dunk Vince Carter Windmill or even a high-flying Steve Francis. Now what do we get over sized dunkers Dwight Howard in it doing basic dunks that he is supposed to do. If David Stern reads this I want him to know that he needs to give the Dunk Contest more life. My Dunk Contest would consist of Jr Smith, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant and Josh Smith maybe one day I will see it…….

The World

This pretty much explains what Lil Wayne feels that he has in his the World. Why not add some more artwork to yourself right before you go to jail. While he was doing this could he have finished the rebirth and strop pushing it back .

Other News

The Redskins get a new Coach Mike Shanahan with a nice contract for 5 years.  Off of that the Cowboys are going for their first playoff win since  1996 at 8pm vs the Eagles

Dipset Wednesday

Something New Dipset Wednesday not really but everybody knows Dipset was a force to be reckoned with while they were alive and kicking. But Jim Jones and Juelz are still at it together on the new song over Drakes forever beat called Forever Harlem. Takes me back to the old dipset days new Mixtape every week.

In other new former member you might know him as Camron Giles is coming out with a new mixtape with DJ Drama Boss of all Bosses. Hope this DJ Drama Mixtape comes out on time  unlike Fabolous late.

Banned From TV

Katthy Griffin, Comedian, definitely brought the New Year in right  live on CNN with Anderson Cooper.  Right before the bomb was dropped on live tv with millions watching Griffin drop the famous four-letter word F#%#. Well to make a long story short CNN was not pleased about this display and has banned Griffin from being on CNN. The World Wide leader in News does not play games I see.
